Description Paladin Security is Hiring a Full-Time Security Guard Location: North York General Hospital Leslie Toronto, ON Schedule: Continental Rotating (Days / Nights) Status: Full-Time Pay Rate: $20.03/hour Overview Paladin Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Guards to support operations at North York General Hospital Leslie. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is professional, observant, and confident working in a fast-paced hospital setting while demonstrating empathy and strong communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds, including entrances, parking areas, and patient wards Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure safety and policy compliance Control access to restricted areas and verify identification when required Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and sound judgment Assist patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous and respectful manner De-escalate conflicts using appropriate non-violent crisis intervention techniques Complete accurate and detailed incident reports in accordance with Paladin protocols Collaborate with hospital personnel, first responders, and law enforcement as needed Requirements Valid Security Guard License for the Province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider Proof of two doses of COVID-19 vaccination Up-to-date immunization records for: Mumps Measles Rubella Varicella Two-step Tuberculosis (TB) skin test Valid G Class Driver''s License Fluent in English (oral and written) Ability to work a Continental Rotating schedule (days/nights) Nice to Have Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field Benefits Paid Time Off Health Care Dental Overtime Pay On-the-Job Training Growth Opportunities Why Choose Paladin Security?
