Job Posting Ready For a Tasty New Challenge? Our facility in Etobicoke, ON. is hiring for a Part-Time Production & Sanitation team members LOCATION: 122 Carrier Drive. Etobicoke, ON. M9W 5R1 RATE: $18.00/hrSHIFT: Morning (7am - 3pm), Afternoon (3pm - 11pm) and Night Shift (11pm - 7am) *Shift times may vary depending on business needs; flexibility required Responsibilities Production: Pack the product into trays or boxes as needed Stack the product in trays as per specification Coordinate with Lead Hand and Machine Operator for any quality issues Follow finished product-packaging instructions Pack the product at machine speed Clean the area at packaging and follow GMPs at all times Maintain clean work area Perform additional tasks as directed Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area Use cleaning equipment (scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrub machine, compressed air, power washers) to clean production floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery (warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing and production). Be responsible for locks out, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing of production machines as required in accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures Adhere to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines Collect waste and recyclable materials from production area and dispose of them Assist in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed Perform specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule Qualifications Previous experience in a food production or food manufacturing environment is an asset Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal) Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong numeracy skills Ability to think, troublehsoot and react to situation Strong multi-tasking skills Excellent attendance record What is the recipe for a great career at WonderbrandsWonderbrands, is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
