Rosehill Wine Cellars is headquartered in Mississauga and focuses on Wine Storage/Cooling and a complete line of Wine Accessories through either our Showroom or our online ecommerce store. We construct custom wine cellars for our customers complete with design build capabilities. We are a good sized vibrant family run company and require a well rounded Wood Finisher individual that can finish all of our millwork using water based stains and lacquers. Primary Duties The successful candidate will work at Rosehill''s head office in Mississauga: A full complement of equipment including a half spray booth and Sames Kremlin spraying systems are currently installed at our shop, with potential to add to equipment needed. Inspect, sand, fill and prep wood veneer and solid wood surfaces (MDF in some cases), and prepare for finishing. Apply high-quality finishes including stain/paint, lacquer. Since we focus on millwork for Wine Cellars only, we only use water based products. Some shading/tinting needs where veneer plywood meet solids to match colour. Finishing surfaces include, wine storage cabinets (diamond and case storage), ladder wine racking solids, and paneling. Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspace Touch up finished materials as required for quality control Maintain a high level of finish quality Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a wood spray/finisher. Knowledge of lacquers, paints and stain products. Capable of heavy lifting. Detail and quality oriented. Capable of maintaining a consistent, high level of quality. Team player with a good attitude that takes pride in their work. Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Detailed oriented. Highly organized and able to work independently. Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
