Who you are: You encompass Oak Valley Health''s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills Posting closes: December 29th, 2025 What we are looking for: Your responsibilities will include: Collection of and delivery of soiled linen carts hospital-wide to receiving area Maintaining individual carts to a regular state of order and cleanliness Conducting daily audits of delivered items to ensure accuracy Review & maintain linen stock levels on all carts daily Conduct & provide Support Services Supervisors daily linen order Delivery of gas cylinders hospital-wide Daily replenishment & monitoring of ScrubEx Machine Stocking of crash carts/code blue carts Responding to linen requests as needed by hospital Other duties as assigned What you bring to the role: Minimum grade 12 education and good mathematical skills Comprehensive knowledge of medical/surgical supplies from a patient care or stores setting is essential Previous experience or working knowledge of stockless inventory systems Previous experience as a linen attendant in a hospital setting Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Proficient computer and typing skills Proven abilities to work effectively with minimal supervision and as a member of a team Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required Physical Demands: Frequent moderate and heavy exertion: lifting up to 40 lbs., pushing and pulling carts Intense visual concentration required due to safety factors. Work Schedule: The schedule for the position is 1200h-2000h Monday to Fridays. The successful candidate must be flexible to cover any shift Days, Evening, Nights and assignment as required, including weekends and statutory holidays Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.
