Job Description As a Summer Student for our company, you will have an opportunity to work with various animal health professionals in a business, clinical and research environment. Moreover, this is a great way to gain exposure to our Animal Health''s business offerings, providing valuable learning opportunities and exposure for young professionals with an interest in vector-borne disease in companion animal. Summer Student, Scientific Marketing Affairs Animal Health Companion Animal In this role your project would consist of: Participation in a research project in support of understanding vector-borne disease Engagement with our company''s project leader throughout the summer project Entering and analyzing data collected Preparing a report to be presented to our company''s Animal Health and partner and/or a relevant local/provincial association Qualifications: Interest in vector-borne disease. Full-time veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College. Must be available for summer student mandate from mid-May to mid-August. Able to comply with biosecurity protocols and local public health requirements. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, with limited supervision. Ability to learn and apply new information quickly. Valid driver''s license. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.). Excellent communication skills (spoken and written). Fluency in French is required.
