Room Attendant The Room Attendant is responsible for the orderliness and cleaning throughout all areas of the property, including public areas, guest rooms & storage rooms, all while living up to our Canalta Mission and Vision Key Duties and Responsibilities: Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery Clean kitchen and bathrooms Ensure that hotel equipment are functional Stock linen closets and other supplies'' areas Restocking cart after every shift Apply the Key Service Standards with everyone you interact with (Smile, Speak, be Empowered and Entertain) Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canaltas policies and procedures Strictly observe all guidelines established by Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS and WCB Perform other duties as may be required by the general manager Qualifications: (experience needed and education) Minimum 2 years experience working as a room attendant Previous experience working in a hotel an asset Must be able to perform physical tasks during a standard 8 hour shift Salary: $18.50 / hour Benefits: Group insurance benefits including dental, health and vision.
