Overview Join our dedicated team as a Healthy Families Facilitator and become a vital part of empowering families to thrive The Family Support Facilitator plays a vital role in promoting the well-being and development of families and children ages 0-18 with special health and or developmental considerations. The Family Support Facilitator provides guidance, resources, and support tailored to their unique needs. This position involves collaborating with families, community organizations, and service providers to create a supportive environment that fosters healthy family dynamics and enhances access to essential services.The role recognizes the gifts, talents and passions and strengths of all people. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in a Human Services related field or equivalent is preferred. Two Years of experience working with families is preferred. Knowledge of theory and practice in the area of child development, age appropriate intervention strategies and family dynamics. Experience or training in the areas of child development, positive parenting, healthy family functioning, strong community connections. Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and communication. Valid driver''s license, a reliable vehicle with 2 million liability and the ability to travel. Ability to organize time effectively to meet assigned work demands.
