Online High School English Grading Teacher Part-Time / Contract William Academy is seeking an Online High School English Grading Teacher to support overseas students in an asynchronous learning environment. Students complete a pre-recorded online English course through our Moodle learning platform. The successful candidate will assess student work, provide feedback, and host a weekly live session. Responsibilities: Grade and provide feedback on high school English assignments Monitor student progress in an asynchronous online course Host a weekly 1-hour live online session with students (generally evenings) Maintain accurate records using Moodle / Microsoft Office Communicate with students and school administrators Qualifications: High school English teaching experience Familiarity with Growing Success (preferred) Experience with international students or ESL/EAL learners (asset) Strong written communication skills Comfortable using Moodle, Microsoft Office, and Zoom or other meeting software Location: Remote Schedule: Flexible (weekly live session required) Job Types: Part-time, Contract Contract length: 5 months Pay: From $30.00 per hour Education: Bachelor''s Degree (preferred) Experience: teaching: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Scarborough, ON M1W 3S2
