Retail Sales Supervisor Job Title: Retail Sales Supervisor Employer: OWEN''S LIQUOR Location: 8-20 Mcleod Avenue, Spruce Grove, AB, T7X 3Y1 Salary: $36.00 per hour (to be confirmed) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours per week Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Language: English Job Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers and retail sales staff in the liquor store. Assign duties, create work schedules, and monitor staff performance. Train employees on store procedures, customer service practices, product knowledge, and point-of-sale operation. Maintain inventory levels, perform stock checks, and coordinate restocking of shelves. Ensure merchandising, product display, and promotional materials meet company standards. Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when required. Assist with store opening and closing duties, including daily cash reconciliation. Ensure adherence to Alberta liquor retail regulations and company policies. Participate in hiring recommendations and performance reviews. Support management with day-to-day administrative tasks and operational needs. Job Requirements Education: Completion of secondary school. Experience: Minimum 1 year of retail experience preferred; supervisory experience is an asset. Language: English. Skills & Competencies Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to supervise staff and work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks. Basic math and accurate cash-handling ability. Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods. Work Conditions Fast-paced retail environment. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
