The Hair Stylist will also engage in retail sales and upselling to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments. Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or products. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations. Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business. Assist clients at the front desk with scheduling appointments, check-ins, and payment processing. Promote retail products and upsell additional services to maximize client satisfaction and salon profitability. Manage appointment flow efficiently to minimize wait times and ensure a smooth client experience. Requirements Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols. Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining professionalism. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear consultations to clients. Basic retail sales experience is preferred. Front desk skills such as appointment scheduling, cash handling, and client management are desirable.
