As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position requires a commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and adhering to all food handling regulations. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
