Job Description

Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 35 hours per week Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment At heights Dusty Work setting Construction Commercial Residential Tasks Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Prepare tenders and quotations Survey building locations and levels Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Supervision 5-10 people Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Work conditions and physical capabilities Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
