Job Title: Supervisor, Design & Multimedia Job Summary: Working within our Marketing department, liaison between product development, sales and current production to successfully achieve marketing strategies. Responsibility : Global Marketing Communications Lead the marketing communications team by developing an appropriate communications strategy . Develop promotional mix and communication platforms. Develop a merchandising program, promotional and sales tools that match Skyjack''s sales processes and are supportive of sales functions. Manage the communications budget. Develop direct mail campaigns, advertising schedule and placement, trade shows (global schedule), social and digital marketing media. Assist Marketing department personnel as needed with respect to product related items including plant tours and product demos for customer visits, photo shoots and other special events . Coordinate customer equipment decal programs. Sales reporting and analysis to support Product Marketing Managers. Monthly upload of raw sales data to AEM''s statistics program. Coordinate and summarize FLO reports from outside sales representatives weekly. Marketing Intelligence Collection of monthly sales forecast data and collation into appropriate formats . Acts as the lead responsible for the organization Contact Management System (CRM). Lead and motivate a small research-oriented group within the Marketing Department. Secondary and Primary research and analysis relating to the construction industry and economy, equipment rental industry and aerial equipment industry. Development of '' Voice of Customer'' through a variety of survey methodologies, interview techniques and the development of representative focus groups. Responsible for analyzing market and industry information and consolidating data into meaningful and effective reports and presentations. Consolidation and analysis of information to identify trends and opportunities and to highlight strengths, weaknesses and potential risks. Maintain a database of information sources for all levels of data and information including information Skyjack Field Staff can obtain through their contacts. Sales analysis, reporting and related support Report on unit sales on a regular basis, including but not limited to reports regarding sales by customer, sales by model, sales by region and option sales. Support Product Managers, Sales staff and other departments by providing up to date information and analysis as required . Works with field sales staff and customers to gather data and information including conducting or assisting with various Market Surveys. Product Management Develop and maintain the Product Development Plan and Portfolio including supporting upcoming projects with detailed business cases and supporting the Product Development Process GOS play. Evaluate pricing data as well as costing information for pricing analysis. Plan and coordinate marketing objectives for all products, including new product launches. Sit as a member of the cross functional Product Development Team for projects relating to assigned products. Work with the Product Development Team and complete or supervise all Sales and Marketing deliverables for the Product Development Process for assigned products. Plans and coordinates new product launches/introductions. Provide input for the creation /execution of marketing materials and activities. Supervise Customer Advisory Group and Field Input activities. Coordinate and monitor demo and field trail programs and solicit feedback from customers. Oversee and implement product training. Liaise with other OEM''s and sit as an active member on any associations such as AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) product related committees. Academic/Educational Requirements : Degree or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent education and experience Three to five years industrial experience Required Skills/Experience : Proven planning and analysis skills. Strong product and market knowledge of aerial equipment. Advanced proficiency with various computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Database management or CRM experience is an asset. Strong leadership and teamwork attributes. Effective oral and written communication. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
