Job Description

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment Noisy Dusty Work setting Manufacture Tasks Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools Equipment and machinery experience Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Area of work experience Fabrication Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Manual dexterity Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Reliability Ability to multitask Employment terms options Early morning Employment terms options Flexible hours Morning Day Weekend Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 37.5 hours per week
