Oxford College Peterborough Campus is seeking to hire a Registered Massage Therapist part-time for its Massage Therapy Program. SCOPE: This role is vital in supporting student success, fostering a strong community outreach for students ongoing learning while ensuring compliance with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and continue ongoing learning for massage therapy students during clinical placement and outreach events Ensure student compliance with professional, ethical and regulatory standards Coordinate outreach events and building relationships with community partners along with maintaining any preexisting outreach partnerships Provide feedback, evaluation and guidance to support student development Collaborate with faculty and program coordinator to support curriculum integration Uphold infection prevention, safety protocols, and professional conduct in the clinic environment Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with the CMTO and Ministry standards Key Responsibilities: RMT in good standing with the CMTO Minimum 2-5 years clinical experience (educational supervision or teaching experience an asset) Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification (Red Cross equivalent) Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills Knowledge of CMTO Standard of Practice, Code of Ethics and PHIPA and AODA legislation Ability to foster an supportive learning environment while maintaining accountability Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to work in all types of environments Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Vision care Experience: massage therapist: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Massage Therapy License (required) Work Location: In person
