Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Duties include but are not limited to: Companionship Hygiene Assistance Home Management Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Shopping & Errands Medication cueing Personal care assistance Keeping accurate records of care Properly maintain communication regarding: -Client activities -Progress -Concerns Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect Alzheimer''s & Dementia Care Requirements to be a Caregiver: Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Fluent in French Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation *Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment* Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available.
