OVERVIEW You will be cleaning homes following clients'' needs. Focus is usually bathrooms, dusting, kitchens, and floors, vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing garbage. The job requires a vehicle to go from one home to the next bringing needed equipment and supplies. The Cleaner identifies any additional areas where additional deep cleaning or repairs is needed (e.g. oven cleaning, deep cleaning projects, etc.). You need to be able to manage your time well and problem solve to figure out solutions to how to clean and get the required tasks done. RESPONSIBILITIES Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming Empty garbage and replace liners Clean bathrooms Clean kitchens including oven and refrigerator, wash dishes, wipe down counters Dusting Clean windows and glass Laundry Clean up after pets Clean window blinds Operate vacuum cleaners Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners Report any damage or repairs as needed RELATIONSHIPS Internal Contacts contact with Owner for schedule information and job tasks External Contacts frequent contact with clients EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Some cleaning experience desired along with customer service skills SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have and be able to drive own vehicle to get to jobs Must possess verbal communication skills (basic English and a willingness to learn) Must have the ability to problem solve Must be able to manage time to get work done within a set time Able to work as a team member. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Fast-paced environment Comfortable working around pets, particularly cats and dogs Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing and safety equipment Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
