Job Summary: The Elementary Academic Teachers are confident energetic leaders who hold a passion to advance the vision, mission, and values of TBMSB through academic teaching. They adhere first and foremost to teachings of Quran & Sunnah, acting as ideal role models for the students and other staff members. The ideal candidates are hardworking, enthusiastic and well-organized teachers with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. They will lead and facilitate activities for students and help promote their physical, mental, emotional and social development. They will prioritize camaraderie, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence to build a sanctuary of learning. The ideal candidate will have a balanced philosophy, a soft mannerism, a fun demeanor, and a sensitive approach to others. What are we looking for: 1-2 years of academic, kindergarten, or other teaching experience. An interest, knowledge, and ability to teach elementary academics in a homeroom. Completed Bachelor''s degree or similar qualification from a reputable institution. Preference will be given to candidates who have: Experience in teaching roles in Canadian Muslim schools. ECE, B.Ed., OCT, and/or M.Ed., or the ability and drive to purse these credentials. Excellent communication ability, organizational skills, and digital proficiency. Interests, experience, or credentials overlapping with other available job postings.. Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification, and/or similar from a reputable body.
