Dog Walker Job Description: Happy Go Lucky Pet Club offers professional dog walking, dog boarding and cat sitting services in South Etobicoke. We are a team of pet lovers who are passionate about animals and making sure every pet gets the love, attention and service they need. We are a close-knit team and work to support one another to get the job done We are seeking a new staff member to assist with private and group walks and cat sitting. This is a long-term position, not a casual summer job. We are looking for responsible walkers who love animals and spending time outdoors Every day we pick up dogs from their home and walk them in their neighborhood for a varied amount of time between 30 minutes - 1 hour per each walk. Following each walk, we fill out a report card for each dog and upload photos for their parents to see. Job Type: Part-Time 10-20 hours a week Qualifications: 2+ years of professional dog walking experience is preferred, but not required. However, experience walking dogs, volunteering at shelters, or owning and taking care of a dog is an absolute must Location: Humber Bay Shores (South Etobicoke) Language: English (required) Job Requirements: Must live in or near Humber Bay Shores Must be available Monday - Friday from 1pm-5pm. Hours will vary each day. Must be reliable and punctual. Days are short but they are fast-paced and run like clockwork. No criminal record. Must be responsible, honest, loyal and trustworthy. And ensure the safety of yourself, and all pets within your care. have a cellphone Must be an excellent communicator via phone, text and email Must be available for 1 year of work at a minimum. We do not want to change the walkers too much because we want our dogs to form a great relationship with you. We walk outdoors in all conditions, rain, snow or shine Must be comfortable with animals of all sizes. Must have the ability to walk and be up on your feet for hours a day Ability to manage and walk up to 3 dogs at a time for group walks. Must be able to take high quality, clear photos of each of the dogs daily and upload them to our dog walking app for customers to see along with a detailed report card of what happened on the walk.
