3D Scanning Technician Intern About Bothwell-Accurate Bothwell-Accurate Co. As we continue to grow, we''re looking for a 3D Scanning Technician Intern to join our construction technology team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who has already gained hands-on 3D scanning experience through coursework, co-op, or early career work and is now ready to take the next step. If you have the educational background and practical exposure to 3D Scanning Technology and BIM tools, this entry-level role will give you the platform to deepen your skills while contributing to high-impact projects across the Lower Mainland, collaborating closely with the drafting team. What You''ll Do Collaborate primarily with the drafting team and contribute as an integral member of the drafting team Capture accurate point cloud data of construction sites and existing structures using Trimble and Faro equipment (training provided) Help process and register point cloud data using software such as Trimble FieldLink or FARO Scene Support the creation of comprehensive BIM deliverables based on scan data using Autodesk Revit Contribute to as-built documentation and fabrication-ready packages Maintain organized data sets and assist with quality control checks What You Bring to the Team Recent successful completion of a diploma/degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil/Architectural Technology, or a related field Hands-on experience with 3D laser scanning/LiDAR through coursework, co-op, internship, or early career work Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and point cloud processing software (Trimble FieldLink, FARO Scene, or similar) Understanding of BIM concepts, software, and ability to contribute to project models Strong attention to detail, data management skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings Adaptable, tech-savvy, and eager to keep learning in a fast-paced environment Valid driver''s license (or ability to obtain) and willingness to travel to project sites Role Snapshot Location: Head Office 6675 Rexwood Rd, Mississauga Type: Full-Time, Onsite Hours of Work: M-F, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Hourly: $22.00 per hour Reports To: Sr. Drafting Technician Vacancy Reason: New Position Number of Positions: 1 Why Join Bothwell-Accurate?
