Elgin Audiology has an immediate opening for an Audiology/Communicative Disorders Assistant at our offices in St. Thomas and London region. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and multi-tasking skills. Job Responsibilities: Supporting audiologists with patient care activities Hearing aid cleaning and troubleshooting procedures Comfortable speaking with patients on the phone Booking and scheduling appointments using computerized scheduling software for both Elgin Audiology and Ontario''s Infant Hearing Program Maintaining and preparing patient room areas including light clean up duties Patient and retirement home visits Other administrative duties including Hearing Aid shipping/receiving, filing etc. Job Requirements: Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate or equivalent Audiology clinic work experience preferred Excellent computer skills Strong organizational skills Exceptional telephone etiquette Strong customer service skills with all age groups This position requires occasional travel, with a reliable personal vehicle Ability to work both independently and within team environment with frequent interruptions Elgin Audiology welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
