Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facility. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The Electrical Technician plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance within our manufacturing environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and machinery to prevent downtime. Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace faulty components such as sensors, relays, switches, and low voltage systems. Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs to support manufacturing processes. Read and interpret technical drawings including AutoCAD schematics for installation or repair projects. Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and upgrades to existing systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes during all maintenance activities. Collaborate with mechanical teams to support integrated system troubleshooting involving CNC machinery and other automated equipment. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications. Provide excellent customer service by supporting internal teams with technical expertise. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician within a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage wiring, sensors, relays, switches, and control panels. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and CNC machinery. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings accurately. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and electrical codes. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation. Previous experience with sensors, CNC equipment, and automation controls is preferred.
