Summary We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer to join our team in Medicine Hat. The successful candidate will play a vital role in translating design concepts into detailed fabrication drawings that meet our company''s high standards and project requirements. Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create detailed fabrication drawings. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Utilize CAD software such as Tekla and Solidworks to develop precise models. Prepare schematics and technical documentation for manufacturing. Review drawings for compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Assist in resolving design discrepancies during the fabrication process. Support project teams by providing detailed technical input throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience as a Steel Detailer or similar role within the steel fabrication industry. Proficiency in CAD software including Tekla, NavisWorks, and Acorn. Strong understanding of structural steel detailing standards. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of construction processes related to steel fabrication is preferred.
