Job Description

WQS NDT is currently recruiting for an experienced and proficient Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) (UT1 experience considered an asset) to join the WQS NDT team on a long-term project supporting operations at the Shell Scotford site. This opportunity is well suited for individuals seeking stable, ongoing work and who are interested in building a long-term career with WQS. Location: Shell Scotford Edmonton, Alberta Work Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week, ongoing Additional Information: When applying, please upload all required certifications under the ''Additional Documents'' section of the application portal. What You Will Bring CGSB Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) - Preference will be given to multi-ticketed technicians; however, all qualified CEDO technicians are encouraged to apply. Rope Access Certification (IRATA) is an asset; candidates willing to obtain their IRATA certification will also be considered. CR/DR exposure and evaluation experience an asset. Cobalt & SCAR experience an asset. Applicants must be local to Edmonton or willing to relocate to the Edmonton area. Ability and willingness to commit to a long-term, ongoing project. Must be Fit for Duty at all times and able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing. Valid driver''s licence with a satisfactory 3-year driver abstract. First Aid and Confined Space certifications are assets. Strong technical skills with a proven track record as a reliable and safety-focused NDT technician. Demonstrated strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
