Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with experience in food and beverage preparation. The Barista will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Handle food safety and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed Join our team as a Barista if you are passionate about coffee, dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and eager to grow within the food service industry.
