Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. This role involves crafting custom cabinets and furniture with precision, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry and woodwork. Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment. Measure accurately for precise fitting and alignment of cabinet components. Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve desired aesthetics. Install cabinets on-site, ensuring proper fit, stability, and adherence to safety standards. Assist with related tasks such as restoration projects, masonry work (rebar installation), flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, and construction estimating as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Experience Proven experience in cabinetry making or related carpentry fields such as woodworking or construction. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment. Knowledge of construction painting, restoration techniques, masonry (including rebar installation), flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance person skills is a plus. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Prior experience in manufacturing or custom woodwork is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific skills as needed.
