Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care environments and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and supporting residents'' well-being in a respectful and professional manner. Responsibilities Assist children with regulation, speech support, social interaction and connection Create good rapport with families, therapists and child Create fun engaging activities to target speech and socialization goals Experience Prior experience in home care or group child care settings preferred Knowledge of speech support, strategies for social connections Experience with children with exceptional needs, ASD, ADHD, moderate to severe speech delays Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals with special needs Previous experience working in a disability support environment is a plus but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of kiddos and their families while developing valuable skills in caregiving.
