Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician you will report directly to the EDM Supervisor. About the Role Your primary responsibilities will include: Programming FANUC RoboCut Wire EDM using CAMi or other software Operating FANUC RoboCut Wire EDM machine for production and R&D needs Perform setups and calibration of EDM fixtures and tooling Support engineering designs of new wire EDM tooling, fixtures, and aids to optimize production and clamping of component Optimizing cutting parameters with respect to cut quality and program runtime Interest in learning CNC Machines (or has prior experience) Run ad-hoc projects from engineering Procure raw materials and material treatments for ad-hoc projects Manage and train an assistant EDM operator to help run production+ Load cartridges into EDM machines carefully Monitor and choose programs for EDM Light Preventative Maintenance on EDM Operating EDM machines and unloading finished parts Careful inspection and assembly of cartridges and parts Using computer excel to see requirements for production demand Qualifications and Physical Requirements 3-5 years of experience with CNC operation and/or assembly loading Microsoft word and excel experience Analysis of measurement data and capability charts Written and verbal English communication Organizational and time management skills Lifting up to 35lbs About Us North Arc is a growing group of companies specialized in advanced manufacturing and complex assemblies.
