We Are Hiring Available Position: Service Advisor MacKay''s Truck & Trailer Center is growing, and we are currently seeking a permanent full-time Service Advisor to join our team in Truro, Nova Scotia. MacKay''s is a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years experience operating full-line Truck, Trailer & Compact Equipment dealerships, with locations in Truro & Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, as well as Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and Moncton, New Brunswick. As a Service Advisor, you will collaborate closely with the Service Department to manage customer needs while balancing the demands of the company in a deadline-driven atmosphere. Your role will be crucial in driving profitable service volume while ensuring the highest level of service quality. Additionally, you will be occasionally responsible for leading the evening shift (from 4pm-12am), ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently during these hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and cultivate new business opportunities. Work with the Service Department to ensure customer expectations and company goals are balanced and met in a timely manner. Continuously work to develop expertise in our products and services to better serve customers. Achieve service volume and quality targets to contribute to the overall success of the company. Requirements: Strong ability to develop deep product and service knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Proactive and capable of learning new skills quickly; previous computer experience is an asset. Experience in the trucking industry is preferred, especially within a Service Department. Why Join Us?
