We are currently looking to expand our team of professionals with a Professional Collision Repair Technician, who will be responsible for performing structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs following collisions, while ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company quality expectations. Primary Duties Inspect damaged vehicles and review repair estimates before commencing work Disassemble vehicles to assess hidden or additional damage Perform body repairs including straightening, aligning, reshaping, and replacing damaged panels Repair dents using hammer and dolly techniques, pull systems, and frame equipment Carry out structural repairs using frame and unibody alignment systems Weld, rivet, bond, and fasten replacement parts using approved repair methods Test-fit panels and components to ensure proper alignment, gaps, and fitment Preparation & Reassembly Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding, filling, masking, and priming repaired areas Reassemble vehicles following repairs, ensuring all components function correctly Install mouldings, trims, lights, bumpers, reinforcements, and safety components Verify vehicle systems, including sensors and safety features, after reassembly Quality Control & Communication Check parts against repair estimates and report shortages or discrepancies Notify management of additional damage requiring supplements or re-inspection Communicate any repair challenges that may affect quality or repair timelines Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards and insurance requirements Safety & Equipment Operate all tools, welding equipment, lifts, and machinery safely Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and proper working condition Follow all shop safety procedures and WorkSafeBC regulations Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment, including respirators Team & Shop Support Assist other technicians and painters as required to meet production schedules Coordinate with estimators, painters, and parts personnel to ensure workflow efficiency Perform additional related duties as assigned to support shop operations Job details: this is a full-time, permanent position (4 vacancies) for at least 30 to 40 hours per week wage: $33-$38, depending on experience benefits: extended health and a wellness plan location of work: 1890 Baron Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X 6G3, Canada contact information: Jason Agostino at the anticipated start date is 15 January 2026 Skills/education requirements: successful completion of high school Red Seal or ITA Trade Certificate or evidence of the skills to obtain one, including either a three- to four-year auto body and collision damage technician apprenticeship program or a combination of over three years of work experience in the auto body and collision technician trade and completion of a professional or college automotive body repair program in possession of a valid driver''s license able to lift up to 50 pounds and willing to handle heavy materials daily ability to work under minimal supervision capacity to work NOT under the influence of alcohol, pharmaceutical and or narcotic substances which would impair your ability to work safely able to perform duties within set guidelines in confined spaces Good English language skills, a cover letter, a resum and references are required.
