We are seeking a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on experience dealing with CRA compliance, filings, and audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting and advisory support to management. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS / ASPE Ensure full compliance with CRA requirements, including GST/HST, payroll deductions, corporate tax filings, and remittances Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close Prepare and file T2 corporate tax returns, T4/T5 slips, and related summaries Liaise with CRA auditors and respond to reviews, audits, and inquiries Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Provide financial and tax planning advice to management Qualifications & Experience CPA designation (CPA Canada mandatory) Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, as per CRA standards Demonstrated experience handling CRA audits, reviews, and compliance matters Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, payroll regulations, and reporting requirements Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
