The Auto Body Technician will utilize various hand and power tools to perform repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Repair and restore vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to perform collision repairs, dent removal, and panel replacements Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and parts replacement Sand, paint, buff, and finish vehicle surfaces to achieve a high-quality appearance Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment at all times Qualifications Previous Auto Body Collision experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks Experience with automotive body repair, dent removal, and painting techniques Mechanic experience is a plus but not required Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity for growth within the automotive industry for dedicated professionals committed to excellence in vehicle repair.
