Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook / Late Night Closer to join our team at Flatboy Burgers. This position is responsible for Smashing Patties to spec during late-night hours, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, performing light prep work, and executing nightly closing duties. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for great food, we want to hear from you Responsibilities: Line Cook Duties: Cook smash burgers to perfection on a flat-top grill following restaurant standards. Assemble burgers with precision, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with basic prep tasks as needed (e.g., portioning, slicing, stocking stations) Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts. Work closely with team members to ensure fast and efficient service. Ensure all food meets quality, freshness, and safety standards before being served Closing Duties Perform end-of-night cleaning tasks, including equipment wipe-downs, dishwashing, floor cleaning, and waste disposal Execute nightly closing checklist and lock-up procedures with accuracy Communicate effectively with teammates and follow instructions from shift leads or kitchen managers Uphold health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and sanitation procedures at a high standard. Qualifications: Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
