Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. The position offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop skills in automotive repair and freight handling. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle functionality Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during transportation Requirements Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy equipment Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including automotive repair skills is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries Physical ability Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory Must pass background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process Job Type: Full-time Pay: $7,000.00-$8,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
