Location: Oakville Employment Type: Full-Time About Us Our client is a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join their team and oversee the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and General Ledger (G/L). Prepare and analyze monthly G/L for all accounts. Perform bank reconciliations for CAD, USD, Yen, and Euro accounts. Review G/L, P&L statements, overhead accounts, and balance sheets. Prepare monthly exchange schedules for buy forwards. Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reporting for banks. Monitor daily bank positions for Canadian and U.S. accounts. Manage HST and QST monthly remittances. Oversee internal processes for new machine orders and deliveries. Register machine sales to maintain security (Title and Ownership) and PPSA compliance. Prepare lease documentation for Client and RBC financing deals. Approve purchase orders and collaborate with A/R on collections. Review all A/R invoices monthly and monitor machine commission sales. Oversee A/P desk, initiate machine payments to suppliers, and review payroll and benefit remittances. Process employee expense reimbursements. Prepare schedules for year-end audit and oversee audit activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications CPA Experience with manufacturing or distribution accounting practices Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting system. Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. Experience with multi-currency transactions and bank reconciliations. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
