Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and system issues Conduct repairs including engine work, brake services, suspension repairs, and electrical troubleshooting Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions Perform vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repair or maintenance procedures Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Assist in routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership environment or similar setting Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, engine, transmission, and suspension components Prior mechanic experience is highly desirable; dealership experience is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record is preferred This position provides an excellent opportunity for automotive professionals eager to apply their skills in a supportive environment focused on quality service.
