Colourfast Secure Card Technologies has been manufacturing paper and plastic products for over 25 years, and our growth is a direct result of the care, energy and attention to detail that we have invested and delivered to our customers, as well as our employees and are in need of a machine operator to help us in our growth. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laminating Machine Operator to join our plastic card manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain laminating equipment used in the production of PVC and composite plastic cards, ensuring high-quality output that meets company and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor laminating machines used for plastic card production Load and align PVC sheets, overlays, and laminates accurately Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times Inspect laminated sheets for defects including bubbles, delamination, or misalignment Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laminating equipment Record production data and maintain accurate job documentation Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and production schedules Work closely with production supervisors and quality control teams Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 13 years of experience operating laminating or similar industrial machinery preferred Experience in plastic card manufacturing, printing, or plastics processing is a plus Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [XX] lbs Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed Preferred Skills Knowledge of PVC, PET, or composite card materials Familiarity with ISO quality standards or clean manufacturing environments Basic computer skills for production tracking Experience with hot press or roll laminating machines Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Work Location: In person
