We are now expanding our team and seeking a results-oriented sales professional to continue driving our market leadership in the dairy category. CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Team Lead You will be responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the freezer facilities based on a strong knowledge of product and product availability. You will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. Other responsibilities will include load/unload shipments of incoming supplies and prepare shipments for delivery. The Team lead will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean work environment. Location: Britannia and Kennedy, Mississauga, ON Reporting to: Shift Supervisor Shift timings: 10:00pm 6.30am, Sunday to Thursday. Your duties as a ''Team Lead'' will include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise the activities of the warehouse staff in order to meet productivity requirements and quality standards including acceptable code dating while complying with company procedures. Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities when necessary, with other units. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Ensure all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules. Train staff in job duties and maintain company policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment. Oversee the preparation of orders for shipment and organization of the staging area for shipment. Oversee the loading of products according to sequence of delivery route, properly labeled and securely loaded onto trucks without damages. Manage and maintain all required paperwork and records for reporting and tracking. Operate a Forklift, Reachtruck, and Walkie in a safe manner to move products. Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations. Read, inspect and confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation on pallets; report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor. Assist in counting of physical inventory and verifying stock and identifying losses. Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Forklift certification preferred. (Walkie ride on and Raymond Reach) Repetitive heavy lifting or moving up to 50 lbs required Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Basic mathematical skills. Working knowledge of safe lifting methods. Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. Attention to detail in all areas of work. Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
