Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in a retirement setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, especially those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Duties Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Help with mobility and heavy lifting as needed for client safety and comfort Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Assist with specialized care needs for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those receiving hospice or dementia care Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members Qualifications Experience in assisted living or retirement preferred. Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, hospice support, and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely Strong caregiving skills with compassion and patience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations Certification or training in medication administration or is a plus but not required Flexibility to work various shifts including days or evenings as needed Valid driver''s license may be preferred for certain roles involving community visits This position is ideal for caring individuals passionate about supporting others through compassionate service.
