Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems efficiently. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on generators Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform repairs utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of repairs performed Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime Support automotive repair tasks as needed, including working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery Requirements Proven experience in mechanical repair, electrical systems, or related fields Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly Experience working with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Customer service skills are a plus for interacting with internal teams or external clients when necessary Previous mechanic experience or automotive repair background is advantageous Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.76-$36.65 per hour Expected hours: 10 22.5 per week Work Location: In person
