Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our studio. The Artisan Nook is a boutique pottery studio whose primary focus is on teaching pottery. We opened the studio in September and have been providing instruction beginning in the fall. We are growing and are in need of an experienced potter or experienced instructor to join our team. Duties Teaching a variety of pottery classes and guiding pottery experiences Teaching children and adults. Teaching both hand building classes and wheel throwing classes Thorough cleaning of the studio upon completion of classes Skills Three to 5 years experience with pottery . Experience teaching pottery is an asset. Experience with a variety of pottery mediums and styles including hand building and wheel throwing. Portfolio of pottery work would be an asset as it provides a complete look at your experience. Comfortable working with children and adults of all ages. You will need to have a car or other reliable method of transportation as there are no buses which service the area. Salary is commensurate with experience.
