Overview Elite Health Homes is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing care team. As a PSW, you will provide essential in-home support to seniors, individuals recovering from surgery, and clients with chronic conditions or disabilities. Your role is key in enhancing their independence, comfort, and quality of life. We are seeking a compassionate Punjabi or Hindi speaking male caregiver to provide care in the Millwoods Area. Availability: Monday - Sunday: 9:30AM - 11:00AM and 5:30PM-7:45PM. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Prepare meals and assist with feeding to ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Support daily living activities and encourage independence whenever possible. Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful, engaging manner. Follow individualized care plans, including dementia-specific strategies when applicable. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and errands. Help with mobility and transportation to appointments, outings, or parks. Monitor and report changes in client health or behaviour to supervisors. Accurately document care provided and maintain communication with healthcare team. Requirements Must be Punjabi or Hindi speaking male caregiver. Experience as a PSW, caregiver, or support worker (community or facility-based) is preferred. Training or familiarity in senior care, dementia support, and personal care techniques. Comfortable administering medications and following care plans. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanour. Valid Class 5 driver''s license and access to reliable transportation is required. Must pass a background check.
