Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments to patients, promoting health and wellness through traditional Chinese medicine techniques. This role requires a strong focus on patient care, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology. Experience in hospital settings is preferred, but a commitment to patient-centered care is essential. The Acupuncturist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that support our patients'' overall health. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients'' health conditions and medical histories Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs Administer acupuncture treatments safely and effectively using sterile techniques Monitor patient responses during sessions and adjust treatments as necessary Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle recommendations to enhance healing Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate holistic care approaches Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture and integrative medicine practices Qualifications Certification or license as an Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with clinical environments Strong background in patient care, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise needle placement Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach within the healthcare team Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to safety standards Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour Work Location: In person
