Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor with 5 + years experience to oversee cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sanitation teams, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, and maintaining a hygienic environment across all areas. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid background in custodial and commercial cleaning practices. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by custodial staff Develop and implement sanitation procedures to meet health and safety regulations Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and order necessary materials to ensure operational efficiency Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained Enforce safety policies and ensure team adherence to OSHA guidelines Schedule shifts and assign tasks to optimize productivity and coverage Address any sanitation issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns as needed Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance Experience Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates with supervisory roles Proven experience in managing cleaning teams or overseeing sanitation operations in a commercial setting Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards Familiarity with safety regulations related to custodial work is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and ensure compliance with company policies This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness while ensuring a safe working environment.
