Job Summary We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic web development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and responsiveness across devices. Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, SCSS, AJAX, JSON, and React as needed. Manage database interactions with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite to ensure data integrity and performance. Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for code management. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create engaging user interfaces with a focus on usability and visual appeal. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. Deploy updates using CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Maintain documentation of code changes and technical specifications following SDLC best practices. Participate in Agile development cycles using tools like Jira or Trello for task management. Requirements Proven experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript (including frameworks like React), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap. Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries such as Angular or React Native is a plus. Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL, and JSON data formats. Knowledge of server environments including Linux and Windows; experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is desirable. Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite. Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Tomcat servers, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Ansible automation tools, and DevOps practices. Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum frameworks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
