As a Community Support Worker, you will work directly with a female adult with a disability who enjoys swimming, shopping, going to the mall, and movies She also loves the Zoo, restaurants, and Walmart Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) Support Workers facilitate participation in recreational and social activities, supporting personal growth and community involvement, and ensuring overall well-being of people with disabilities. Job Details Location:Southeast Calgary and area Employment Type:Full time Schedule:Monday Saturday (10:00am to 3:00pm) Salary:$21.53 per hour Benefits:Health Benefits after 3 months of employment. CPLF Orientation, Medication Administration Training, Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, Abuse Protocol Training, and Positive Behavior Support Training will be provided. Job Requirements: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident Must be okay with swimming Must be okay with personal care Must be okay with pushing/lifts/transfers as client uses a wheelchair -Must be okay working Monday to Saturday, 10am-3pm Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the past two years) Must be empathetic and patient individual Experience working in the field is an asset A reliable vehicle and valid driver''s class 5 license o If hired, we require two million in third party liability vehicle insurance Valid First Aid (Level C) certification required within 3 months of hiring.
