Job Description

Overview Sushi Mori is looking for a highly dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong quality control skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent food quality, managing staff, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant. The Manager will also work to attract new customers by developing and executing marketing, advertising, and community relations initiatives. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service and compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Recruit, train, and evaluate team members to build and maintain a high-performing, motivated staff. Oversee cash handling, reconcile daily transactions, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Monitor kitchen operations and food preparation to ensure quality, consistency, and timely service. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and elevate service standards. Manage ordering, storage, and inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Conduct regular inventory counts, investigate variances, and report findings promptly. Create and monitor staff schedules to maintain optimal coverage while controlling labor costs. Enforce fair and consistent disciplinary measures in alignment with company policies. Actively engage with guests through table touches and prompt resolution of inquiries or complaints. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop or refresh menu items that reflect customer preferences and seasonal trends. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management Proficiency in cash handling, POS systems, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and health/safety compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Core Attributes: Integrity and professionalism.
