Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in treating patients. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Certifications: Valid and current Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist (MRIT) certification Duties: Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Operate imaging equipment (C-arm) machine with precision and care. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images while adhering to safety protocols. Review images for quality and clarity, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards before submitting for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation exposure and equipment handling. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience Prior experience working as an Imaging Technologist or in a similar medical imaging role is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to comfort and reassure patients during procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
