Delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team operates efficiently. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Production Oversight: Oversee the operation of labelling, pouring and blending equipment to ensure proper functioning. Monitor production processes to meet quality and quantity standards. Troubleshoot and address issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Quality Control: Enforce quality control measures to ensure product consistency. Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to maintain high-quality standards. Scheduling and Planning: Collaborate with the production management team to schedule production runs. Ensure that production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly. Equipment Maintenance: Report any issues with equipment immediately and lock out if necessary. Address equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including batch records and shift reports. Communicate production status and issues to upper management. Expanded Responsibilities: Take full ownership of BioSteel packaging and repackaging operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely execution. Oversee other associated production operations as needed. Mentor New Team Leads: Train and mentor new team leads, focusing on improving operational efficiency, fostering leadership skills, and driving growth within the company. Encourage best practices to create a sustainable and scalable team structure. Operational Improvements: Identify and suggest tools, workflows, or equipment that would enhance team lead efficiency during packaging and repackaging operations. This may include inventory management solutions, production planning tools, or automated systems to streamline processes. Required Qualifications & Attributes: Strong knowledge of all production equipment operations. Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions under pressure. Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
