Not only do we produce our fresh pasta for the restaurant, we also supply many high quality restaurants in the city. Ideal candidates will have experience making fresh pasta and bread though we''re open to hearing from those with diverse professional backgrounds with new sets of skills that could translate well into our world. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Day-to-day pasta and bread production for Occhiolino as well as wholesale clients Follow standardized recipes as set by the Executive Chef/Owner to ensure quality and consistency Maintain a prep list of pasta department tasks and communicate well to other team members Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines Have strong oral and written communication and be able to multi-task and prioritize duties Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 years of pasta and bread making experience and/or a combination of relevant experience Culinary diploma/degree is an asset Basic understanding of pasta making and baking skills Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure Positive attitude and direct communication skills WHAT''S IN IT FOR YOU?
